Day - 1

DAY 01- AIRPORT / TRINCOMALEE

On arrival to srilanka, the guests well be accepted by our representative at the airport, travel to Trincomalee. Follwing are the places to visit in Day 1,

Madampe Subrahmanya Temple
This very colorful temple is a recently built one dedicated to Lord Muruga.

Munneshwaram Temple
Munneshwaram temple is an important Hindu temple which is known as one of the ancient panchaIswarams dedicated to Shiva in the region. There is a temple complex consist with five temples including a Buddhist temple. The central temple is dedicated to Shiva and others are dedicated to Ganesh, Ayyanayake and Kali.

Bangadeniya Manawari Temple
Manavari Temple is one of the main Hindu temple linked to the Ramayana. Sri Lanka Yatra and lot of local & Indian tourists visit this temple annually. There is a direct link between this Manavari Temple and the Ramayana Yatra in Sri Lanka. This is the first place where the lord Rama installed and prayed the Shiva lingam after the end of the war with king Ravana.

Day - 2

DAY 02 – TRINCOMALEE / SIGIRIYA

After Breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya.

The following are the places to visit in Day 2

Ravana hot water wells.
It consists of seven hot water wells, each slightly varying in temperature, believed to have therapeutic abilities to cure sickness disease. This was built by king Ravana for his mother.

Sri Laxminarayana temple
This largest temple of lord Vishnu in Nilaveli is with awesome architecture.

Thirukoneshvaran temple
One of the PanchaIshwarams dedicated to the hindu deity Shiva.  It was reconstructed in 1903 AD.

Shankareedevi Shakthi Peetam temple
Shankari Devi Shakti peetha is one of the important Astha Dasha Shakti peeth. Here Sati Devi’s groin (wife of Lard Shiv) had fallen. In this place , Sati Devi is worshipped as Shankari Devi and Lord Shiva is worshipped as Trinkoneshwara. Shankari Devi temple is located at Trincomalee in Sri lanka.

Day - 3

DAY 03 - SIGIRIYA / KANDY

After Breakfast proceed to Kandy.
The following are the places visit in Day 3,

Sigiriya Lion Rock
Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla. This site was selected by King Kashyapa (477 – 495 CE) as his new capital. He built this palace on the top of the rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. After some times, It was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site.

Dambulla Golden Buddha temple
This temple is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. This is a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery with its five sanctuaries and is the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. 

Muththumari Amman temple
This is a Hindu temple located at Mathale, which is dedicated to Mariamman, the goddess of rain and fertility. The current temple was built in 1874, funded by the Nattukkottai Chettiar. This temple is used by both Hindus and Buddhists.

Day - 4

DAY 04- KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA

After Breakfast proceed to NuwaraEliya.

Ramboda Hanuman Temple

The Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka has built a temple with Lord Hanuman as the presiding deity.  The temple is on a stunning location that looks out towards part of the Kotmale valley. According to the legend, this was where the Hanuman searched for Sita in the jungles . There is also a pond named ‘Sita Tear Pond' closeby, which was formed from Sita's tears.

Gayathri Peedam
The Gayathri Peetam was founded by Gayathri Siddhar Sri Murugesu Maharishi. The Gayathri Cathedral also known as Sri-Lankathe Eswarar Temple which is the very first temple dedicated for Goddess Gayathri. Gayathri Siddhar chose this place because it was a spiritual revelation. It is one of important site of Ramayana Tour of Sri Lanka.

Day - 5

DAY 05- NUWARA ELIYA / COLOMBO

After Breakfast proceed to Colombo.
The following are the places visit in Day 5,

Sitha Amman Temple
Sri Seethai Amman temple is a unique temple where Seeta Devi  spent her days in the prison of Ravanaaprox 5000 years ago. It is also unique in a way that it is one of the very few temples dedicated to Seeta

Asoka Vatika
Ashoka Vatika is the place where Sita Devi was in captivity under Sri Lankan king Ravana during Ramayana yatra in Sri Lanka. As per the Ramayana Story Sri Lanka, the beautiful princess Sita Devi was brought to the island of Lanka Puram (Sri Lanka) and imprisoned in an area named Ashok Vatika. Ashok Vatika is one of the significant places mentioned in Ramayana Yatra Sri Lanka. She was preferred to stay in this garden instead of at Ravana’s majestic castle. There was a wonderful Ashoka tree here, which provided the distressed Sita, shelter and comfort.

Day - 6

DAY 06 -COLOMBO / AIRPORT

After Breakfast proceed to Airport.
The following are the places visit in Day 6,

Kelaniya Vibhishana Temple
Kelaniya Temple is a sacred Buddhist temple dating to the time before chronologically recorded history of Sri Lanka. It is believed to be the place where Lord Buddha visited Sri Lanka for the third time. The initial temple is said to be built on the ground where lord Buddha preached dharma to people in Kelaniya, enshrining the jeweled seat lord Buddha sat on for the preaching (in 543 B.C).

Ponnambalamswarna lingam temple
Panchamuga Anjaneyar temple

Sri Anjaneyar Temple is located in the Dehiwala-Mount lavinia area of Colombo. The temple has Sri Hanuman as the main deity. Panchamukha Hanuman is a five faced idol of Lord Hanuman in the temple. The temple also has idols of Nandi, Navagraha, Rama, Sita, Ganesha and Jain idol of Lord Parshwanath to worship.
